I've just had to replace the pc my ru viewer was running on. On my new pc I've installed rut6.3, and I've updated the host pc to 6.3 as well.

Before the change over, I seem to recall I could configure the ru settings on one pc or the other to allow the user of the host pc to easily take back control of the host pc from whoever was operating it from the viewer pc. (I hope that all made sense.)

Is there (or was there) a way to do this?

Hello,

Thank you for your question.

By default, the remote user always retains control over the mouse cursor and keyboard input unless the admin/tech disables it on the Viewer side by using the Lock host's mouse and keyboard option.

In addition, there is an option that when enabled allows the remote user to close the session regardless. It's called Notification panel.

Hope that helps.
