Hello,
Since June 27th, our Host has been unable to connect via Internet-ID. The host log shows the following continuous error: id75.remoteutilities.com; Port 773: Connect timed out.

We have tested from multiple completely different networks/ISPs here in Brazil and performed a curl test (curl -v telnet://id75.remoteutilities.com:773), and it always results in a timeout. Firewalls and antiviruses have been completely ruled out. It seems to be a routing or server-side issue specific to the id75 server for our region.

Host Version: 7.8.4.0
Windows 10
Could you please check if there is an outage or a block on your end? Thank you.
Hello Jorge,

Thank you for your message.

Could you please confirm if you’re using our public servers to connect to your remote Hosts? If this is the case, please note that Internet-ID connection via our public servers requires at least one of the outbound TCP ports 5655 or 443 to be opened. For more information on the ports please see this page.
In case if you’re using your self-hosted RU Server, please make sure that the server’s DNS name is specified correctly in both Host and Viewer settings as lined out in this guide.

Looking forward to your reply.

Just to add, I’m from Campinas, SP, and use Claro internet. I’ve even tried tethering from my Vivo mobile connection. Nothing has been resolved so far. It seems like a server outage or a routing issue that’s affecting us.
