RU Server - Reverse proxy

Hi,

My first post and quick question...

Is it possible to have RU Server behind revers proxy (nginx) So we can reuse ip address and have it running on separate VM instance on some subdomain?

I did search this web site for keywords “Reverse proxy” but nothing came up…

p.s. I was using TV but sold my company and moved to another country - accepted a job offere in Germany... I was looking to have some Remote desktop to help friends and manage small server i have at my home in Croatia... And this looks very promising... Also i will try to get my current company to buy licence here instead of using one TV licence that we share as some one needs it....

Hello Andrej,

Thank you for your message.

The RU Server is not related to http(s), so the nginx configuration is not necessary. You can set up the RU Server on any machine with an external IP address and create a subdomain record in your DNS with a subdomain that points to this IP address.
