Is there any what to see what date and time a host was last seen online by an RU Server or in the Viewer?  I can online see the Online status, but knowing the last time a system was seen online would be very helpful from and administration and diagnostic point of view.

Is there are way to edit text files from within the remote terminal? If not, is there a way to use RemoteUtilities to edit a remote text file outside of starting a remote desktop session?

Just wondering when the next release of updates to the Windows Viewer and Host may be occurring so that I can plan updates of hosts for my business locations. Thanks!

Ok, thanks for the explanation and I understand the caution. At least I can initiate the Simple Update function on many multiple remote hosts at the same time. Thanks for the response!

Is there a setting to have hosts on client machines automatically update to new releases? This would be very helpful.

I am sorry I have not had a chance to get the additional information to you. However, it appears that the 7.1.1.0 release has completely resolved the issue on all systems that I have tried. Many thanks!

I just upgraded viewer and hosts to 7.1.0.0. I am finding the almost every attempt to establish the updated Terminal mode crashes, both CMD and PS attempts, and in both contexts. Every great once in a while the connection makes ok. I would say it is about 98% of the time a fail. The Terminal windows tries opens then immediate closes out with a crash. No error messages appear. I have attached a log for your inspection. This is Viewer on Windows 11. Viewer on Windows 10 seems to work just fine.
