Hello James,
Thank you for your message.
Could you please clarify what exact version of Remote Utilities you’re currently running and which version of Linux Mint you’re currently using? We will try and see if we’re able to reproduce the issue on our end.
Looking forward to your reply.
I'm running Linux Mint 22.3 Cinnamon 64bit with Linux Kernel 6.8.0-117-generic
The newest version i tried/failed to run is viewer1.0.24.b24_amd64.deb
I ended up using 'wayback machine' to find and download the previous version again viewer1.0.23.b23_amd64.deb
The old version still works fine.
thanks
James

We have rebuilt beta 12 (the files have now been replaced). Please, download them here and try installing again.
Let us know if the issue persists.
Thanks.
After a couple of weeks use, i can report that this version is working fine for me.
Thanks again for your links to the older version - and promptly fixing the issue.

I'm running Linux Mint 20.3 and was using the Viewer 1.0.11.q beta 11 perfectly well.
Since upgrading to the newer Version 1.0.12.q Beta 12 it will not run at all. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing to no avail.
Is there a link for the previous version please so i can get it working again?
thanks
James
Edit: Please see the message i got when i ran r-viewer from terminal
