Hey Conrad, there is no more ardant supporter of Remote Utilities than I but... we've been talking about this since December of 2016 and in 2017, it was "...expected to be completed even this year." Now 2018 is gone and it seems that the many voices raised about this have not communicated the importance that file transfer capability is to those of us who use RU every single day. Please?
I know this is an old thread but... File Transfer is virtually useless due to constantly being unable to load a directory... any directory. Support said change the Access to system and that works sometimes but, just as often, it helps to change it back to User. My Viewer and Hosts are all current and it happens no matter which host I'm accessing. If this was updated, it has a long way to go before it's ready for prime time. Help!
I haven't logged every event nor seen any pattern but even pasting simple text is often an issue. I've switched from years of using [censored] ( very good program from a company that has lost it way in the last few years ) and like the way they simply share the clipboards.
With RU, there seem to be conditions to that sharing and it is VERY distracting when trying to help a client. All I can tell you is that the weird complexity of the clipboard status in RU seems unnecessary but, the relative minor clipboard issue is one of the few disappointments with RU until you guys release the 6.3 upgrade disaster. I needed to hear back from support on my ticket about that ASAP but, so far, not a peep!
