Hello,
We are evaluating the software.
I installed the host on a PC. Then, I ins erted a password, so the user of the host computer won't be able to change any of the se ttings.
Strangely, when I reinserted the password, it was not recognized.
I tried to remove and reinstall the host, but it was not helpfull. Somehow, the application still remembers the unknown password.
Please help,
Effi.

Hello, Effi
To completely erase old settings including Host password delete this registry key on the host machine:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SYSTEM -> RemoteUtilities

Looks good for a work around. Any possibility that this will be included on the script? Like adding the script to delete the old entry at the registry?

We are planning to add "Also delete settings" option to the Host uninstaller.nikkil wrote:
