Trying to install Host 7.7.3.0 but keep getting error 1722 message.
running Windows 10.
I've tried both the exe and msi files and same result.

I already have Viewer 7.7.3.0 installed. Do I need to uninstall it to install host?

ERROR 1722 WHEN INSTALLING HOST
Hello John,

Thank you for your message.

No, you don't have to install Viewer. The exe file is a wrapper over the msi, so this error indicates that there's an issue with installing an msi package on this computer.

Please, refer to this MS knowledge base article, it may help to resolve it:

Unfortunately that didn't work. I'm not exactly sure how I'm supposed to use the fixit tool.

I ran it but all it does is list the programs already installed. If I choose unlisted program it just takes me to the "provide feedback to MS," which we both know is about as useful as a flat tire.
Hi John,

Thank you for your message.

In this case, please try fully uninstalling Host following this guide. After uninstalling, please restart your computer and see if you’re able to install Host this time.

Let us know if this helps.
