I started this inquiry on "why Android works when on WIFI but not Cellular Data" and answered the replies; final reply from you was to email my logs and I never received a response as to what the logs told you. Simply put, my remote windows pc can connect to the host server version 7.7.3.0 using my home lan and internet. My android will not connect when on cellular data when previously it would when at a distant location than the host. Now the android phone only connects to that host when the phone is in the same building and using only WIFI of the router that connects the host. If I am in the same building and I turn off the wifi on my android and turn on the cellular data the host will not connect to my android. Previously my android would connect via cellular data but not anymore. Is this a version 7.7.1.0m12.7.3x64 on my Android problem? Have you reviewed my logs I sent you? Thanks! Mark Tribby
Hello Mark,
Thank you for your message and apologies for the late reply.
We’ve examined your log files and have noticed a few connection errors that point to general connectivity issues. It looks like something might be blocking Internet-ID access to your Host (might be a perimeter firewall or even your ISP). Would you mind checking the logs for the updated version and sending them to us for a review as well?
In addition, if you’re using any antivirus software on any side of the connection, we strongly recommend to add Remote Utilities to the exception list just to make sure it’s not blocking the access.
Looking forward to your reply.
