when I hover over a remote connection in the viewer a popup appears with a thumbnail of the remote screen and a refresh image link and an actions menu.

Is there a way to change the size of this thumbnail preview?

I know I can change the size of the thumbnail previews that lists all of them in the main window with the preview slider in the view menu. I'm not asking about that.

I'm asking about the mouse-over popup.

Do you mean the Advanced Hint Window? If so, unfortunately, it's not yet possible to adjust the size of the preview window. However, I'll forward your request to our developers for a review to see if we're able to add this feature in the future updates. Sorry for the inconvenience.
