Direct Connection Syntax

If the port is forwarded (eg 192.168.0.2, start 5650, end 5650) in the router and the router external address of the router is 142.xxx.xxx.xxx, what do we enter in IP Address, Internet ID or DNS field?

Hello,

Thank you for your message.

Do you mean the command-line parameters that you can use with the syntax? If this is the case, then please use the Host machine's IP address with other parameters as described in this guide.

In case if you mean simply connecting via Direct connection using UI, please input the Host's machine IP address in the "IP Address, Internet ID or DNS field" field when creating the connection in your address book as described in this tutorial.
