I would like to be able to transfer files between local (viewer) and my host's network shares/drives. When I try to transfer files, the hosts directories that are shown are only A: C: D:. My other network shares or mapped drives are not displayed.
Am I missing something here?

Hello Omar,
Network drives in the File Transfer mode are not yet supported. We'll implement this in one of the future versions.
Thanks.

We are looking for this feature also. It would make RU the perfect fit for us. Do you have any idea when the feature for accessing Network drives in File Transfer mode may be added?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Support for network/mapped drives in the File Transfer mode is coming in version 5.7 due in a month or so.

This is a BIG deal for us!Conrad Sallian wrote:

Our PC support business is looking to replace our current remote support software and I have been impressed overall with Remote Utilities.
However, being able to access network/mapped drives in File Transfer is a MUST-HAVE function. It's a show-stopper without it.

Folks, this was in 2014, over two years ago. I still don't see any mapped drives in File Transfer. IS there a setting I have to tweak?

Hello Basil,
Mapped drive support was added back in the end of 2014, in version 6.0. Here are the release notes. Please, update Remote Utilities (Viewer and Hosts) to the most recent version.
We recommend checking the latest beta version. It is available here https://www.remoteutilities.com/download/beta.php
