Thank you for your message.
Could you please try uninstalling your Viewer completely as described in this tutorial and then re-installing it from scratch? Please make sure to restart your computer before re-installing Viewer.
In addition, if you have any connection entries in your Viewer's address book, you can export your address book by following this tutorial.
Please let me know if the issue persists.

I followed your instructions EXACTLY and had no difficulty in doing so.
Several days later, same crash. There are 2 entries in the Windows event viewer, one is the same as previously given to you, and the other is here (with a different "exception code"

Thank you for your patience.
I've checked on the issue with our developers. Could you please enable logging in your Viewer as described in this guide? After you enable the logging feature, please wait till rutview.exe crashes once again and then send us the Viewer log files for examination. You can send the logs to support@remoteutilities.com.
