Accidentally installed 7, backed off to 6.10, passwords gone

I was on 6.10.10.0, got the upgrade message, assumed it would TELL ME ABOUT IT and the thing went ahead and installed 7, without mentioning the large upgrade expense. After a considerable struggle, I got 6.10.10.0 re-installed, but now the password for every single customer computer is gone. This is going to cost me roughly 18 hours to repair, while disrupting every support call for the next who-knows how long.

Hello Johann,

I'm sorry to hear you had issues with your installation. However, please note that Viewer automatically creates addresss book backups on a daily basis (unless you disabled that option).

If your current address book file was corrupted for some reason you can restore the latest backup by following instructions on this page.
