I mean the ability of editting a language file inside MSI file in order to use my own words.
Until the version 7.0.0.3, if you disassembled the MSI file you got several files, many of them were about language (english.lng, spanish.lng, russian.lng, etc). Editting those files using your own words and writing additional information (like how to use RU or contact information), and then re-assembly the MSI to use with the MSI Configurator.

Hi there!
I realized that new RU version 7.0.2.0 has no language files (.lng), instead of 7.0.0.3 and previous. Is there any possibility of modifying these text files to show the info of your choice, in order to generate a custom host from MSI Configurator?

When you click on keylock icon, remote screen and mouse are not switched off. Windows 10 in both computers.Regarding the lock screen, could you please elaborate on this problem and give us more information about what specifically is not working in your case.

Obviously, print with Microsoft to PDF or Microsoft to XPS will always work, because they are launched at the remote host and the output file will also be at the remote host. What I want is the output were launched in some of my local printers.
If you sel ect Remote Utilities Printer fr om the Printer List, the popup "Remote printing - preparing..." is shown, but when it closes nothing else occurs.
I've been trying Remote Utilities for more than a year, and it's a bit buggy. Remote printing, file transfer or lock screen not work good or not work at all definitely.

With any kind of document or application. I tried with different configuration at the host, but no success.

Hi there!
The same problem here. The version at both sides is 6.8.0.1. Remote printing is enabled at host side. When you try printing some file at host, appears the popup window "Remote printing - preparing...", but then the popup is closed and no other window is shown.
The host is a Windows 10 Pro machine and the viewer is a Windows 7 Pro. The same behavior with RU beta version. Any idea?

File transfer is very sloooow on directory changing

Damn! Almost a year and a half telling users that FileTransfer would be fixed, but nowadays still the same.
Not only FileTransfer works really bad, the connection stablishment is slow too, even between fiber connections. After many tests, I certainly say that ancient UltraVNC works like a charm in almost everything, except for some windows asking for Admin permissions.
No updates since August 26, 2017. Please guys, keep in mind we all users are alone in the dark...

Hi again!
With some installations of Windows XP, the Viewer couldn't connect to the Agent. Is there any limitation regarding Windows XP below SP3? Perhaps, the problem was a slow internet connection. Which is the minimum internet speed to ensure the connection keeps on? "Dial-up / GPRS mode" was activated and no luck.
As an improvement, it would be nice to have a button at the bottom of the Agent to 'Disconnect + Close', because if you try to close on the Agent's window cross this one gets close but Viewer receive a message about retrying connection. On the other hand, if you close the connection on Viewer's connection cross, the connection is closed but Agent don't close.

Congrats for your product, it's really a serious alternative to [censored] .
I've been tasting Remote Utilities for 2 weeks and I have some questions:
1. In the MSI Configurator, for custom Agent.exe you should be able to translate the phrase "Run after reboot", and also the ability of changing the tray icon.
2. I don't know how the relay server works, but would it be possible to build an own relay ID server at a shared web hosting, maybe written in php or python which return the ID - in a JSON format for example? Interesting...
3. Viewer lacks the ability of quick connect, in case somebody want to connect through Agent version, thus you don't need to add connection into address book.
