Thank you for continuing to help us out on this issue.
Test print 1 = same blank page as before Test print 2 = same blank page as before Test print 3 = worked but shrank the image to paper size A4 and the image is about 1/4 the size of the paper Also Test print 3 worked only 2 out of 3 times for an unknown reason. First print worked, second print did not and third worked again. This is also causing the printer to halt due to paper size mismatch and forces user to manually continue with the print job from the printer menu.
I have tried both PCL6 and PS drivers with no resolution. I can save the image and print it out but this is cumbersome for most people to understand. I am thankful that the person I am testing this on is understanding and willing to test.
Is there anything else on this one machine that could be stopping the printer from printing directly from RU Viewer?
I have one machine with the latest viewer installed(184.108.40.206) and the host has the same version(220.127.116.11). My machine also has the latest version.
On my machine I am able to print successfully to my printer from the remote machine. However, on the machine I need this to work on it appears to work until the pages come out. When they come out they are blank. Is this simply a driver issue?
My machine is using a post script driver and I am guessing but I think the other machine is using a pcl driver. I know this feature works but something is causing it to print blank pages.
Viewer and Host version 6.7.01, I downloaded them fresh this weekend.
I have played with previous releases and noticed that after an installation I get a popup notification that RU was installed successfully with an OK and Tell me more button. Can that be removed? I have to reboot for it to disappear on the Windows 10 machines I have installed it on. Clicking Ok or Tell me more does nothing only rebooting. Also the pop up is stuck on my Windows Server 2008 R2 I have logged in and out and rebooted multiple times but the message never goes away. Any suggestions on removing this? And also providing an option to disable this in the future?
I apologize for the delayed response and it might be to late now since the new release but the specific registry key is the following: [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\13A941B963765914F811F4CD6F8DD41E]
I am unsure where this error is coming from but during testing of the beta version I am getting an error 78 when reinstalling on some not all machines. Currently out of a handful of installs I have only ran into this twice. The results of the error are below. After deleting a registry entry I was able get the software to install. I have copies of registries that were deleted, but I was able to locate them by using a find for Remote utilities and deleting the first entry found. ***** Start of log ***** Date: 11/11/2016 12:46:03 PM Action: install/upgrade.
