From what you’re describing, it does sound like something within the network configuration rather than Remote Utilities itself. Since the slowdown only started after setting up Pi-hole, we’d recommend checking how DNS and routing are being handled on that machine and making sure nothing is being filtered or delayed in a way that could affect outbound connections.
It may help to diagnose the local network setup and also check the Host logs on the affected computer to see if there are any errors or delays being reported during connection attempts. Here’s how to find the
