Hi,

we are experiencing same issue on version 6.10. ESET deletes all Hosts and Viewers. It's (Viewer) detected as Win32/RemoteAdmin.RemoteUtilities.X potentially vulnerable application.

We made exception for exe file and SHA1 and now we must deploy again, so let's see if it will work.

we are using direct connection (Internet-ID disabled), are on private company VPN, but connection speed to this one branch office is slow because of technology, old cables...

From what you send:

Remote Utilities is outdated or version mismatch – same
Internet connection slow – yes
Direct connection vs. Internet-ID connection – direct
High color depth – set to 4 bit
Visual effects – disabled
Economy mode – seems that doesn't work
Low-end or outdated CPU – actualy 4core Intel CPU
High CPU load – no

So only solution is to try Beta version.

Hello, we have one branch office with very low speed connection, which is not to get faster technically. There is only 0,5 Mbit/s upload. So I tried all bit color formats (btw. 1 bit, black and white, is totaly unusable, better will be something like 2 bit like grey scale or similar) and got to the minimum of about 2 Mbit/s in normal mode. When I switch to Economy mode, bandwith was similar, 2 Mbit/s. Do when we have 0,5 Mbit/s upload that means delay between displaying about 4 seconds so it is unusable.

Any ideas?

From the same computer I can finish (send configuration and download MSI) thru MSI Configurator Tool when I change from company network with proxy (ethernet) to WiFi public networ without proxy. So problem is in network with proxy server, but don't understand why exception don't work.

exception for *.remoteutilities.com was the first thing I tried, but maybe I used only remoteutilities.com without subdomain asterisk (and that didn't work). Tomorrow I will try. Thank you very much.

we have authenticated proxy in the company and I am not able to use online configurator for MSI package. We tried to track network traffic but unsuccesfuly. We see only remoteutilities.com. Can you tell me what servers on what ports are you using for generating MSI? When I am in last step it end with error "Cannot connect to configuration server. Check internet connection and try again.". Over WiFi withou proxy on the same computer it is working. So I must set up with wired connection (because of AD groups permissions defined to Host MSI) and before last step change to WiFi and download.

Any ideas?

Are there any plans to improve searching in Active Directory (I guess it work same as in Adress Book)? There are columns with login, IP address, etc., but it search only by computer name. Also some kind of downloading info about computer (logged in user e.g.) when I add computers as connection should be nice.
