Remote Utilities 6.3 has been released. This update is free for all users of version 6.x. Below is a brief overview of the new version.

Connection icons in the address book now use colors to display different statuses:
Green. You are logged on to the remote PC.
Yellow. This color can mean either of the following:
Black. This color can mean either of the following:
Generating an Internet ID and sending the ID via e-mail used to be a single option. Now these are two separate options – you can generate an ID without sending an e-mail. For example, you might want to copy the ID later from the RU Server “Idle connections” list, provided that you use the RU Server.
Another improvement is that you can specify your own text or reference code in the sent e-mails. This is helpful if you want to configure an e-mail filter to sort e-mails sent by different custom packages.
For example, you might want to configure 5 different packages for 5 different offices and enable the “Send ID via email option”. If you specify a different reference text/code in the “Custom text for email" field (e.g. “Office1”, “Office2” etc.) you can then easily sort these messages in your e-mail client to see which emails came from which offices.
Previously, if you installed the Viewer on a PC joined to an Active Directory domain, the AD tree was forcibly shown in the Viewer. You can now turn off displaying AD tree in the Viewer options:
