"Video codecs are not installed" error
When attempting to run the Voice and Video chat connection mode the following message appears:
To resolve the issue you must manually download and install the necessary codecs:
- Fully exit the Viewer (File ➝ Exit).
- Download WebM/VP8 DirectShow Filters and unzip the file.
- Run the
install_webmdshow.exefile on the PC where the Viewer is installed.
- Run the Viewer and try to connect to the remote PC in the Voice & Video chat mode.
