Error 2753: The file rfusutil.exe is not marked for installation

After uninstalling Remote Utilities Host I am trying to install it again but the installation fails with the error:

Error 2753: The file rfusutil.exe is not marked for installation (ver. 7.6.2.0)

I tried and followed the guide also uninstalling manually and cleaning the registries but without success

Please try using this Troubleshooting tool from Microsoft that can help resolve issues with updating/uninstalling software - simply download the tool and follow the suggested prompts. After that please try installing Host again to see if this helps to resolve the issue.

Thanks with the tool the uninstallation is correct. However I need to uninstall the host through the .bat script on multiple PC stations. I read on the site that it is enough to launch:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Remote Utilities - Host\rutserv.exe" -silentuninstall

The command is executed but the uninstallation does not seem to work.

Could you please let us know what happens after the command is executed but uninstallation did not work? Do you mean that Host is still installed and functioning or that some files/folders are left behind?

yes the host still installed and functioning. It's as if the command doesn't start the uninstallation process.
It is correct to use rutserv.exe" -silentuninstall?
If I use windows unistaller the process seems different.
