Changing the default port.

Hello.
If I change or add another port other than 5655.
The host stops seeing the mini-server.
In the firewall, the port is any.
What is the reason?

host v7.0.2.0
server v3.0.1.0

Thank you for your message.

Please double-check if the Server is visible from the outside at the port 4000. In order to do so please navigate to this page, input the Server's port number and select Check Port. If everything was configured properly and Server is visible at this specific port the form will return Success as the result.

the server and the host are on the same LAN. 5655 and 4000 port are not visible from the outside.
5655 works, but 4000 does not. (any other port other than 5655 is not seen by the host)

on the server firewall, all ports of the mini-server are open.

Thank you for the clarification.

Could you please also let us know if you've tried restarting the RU Server or the server machine after adding the port 4000 (or any other custom port value) to the Communication ports list? If no then please try adding the custom port value to the Communication ports list once again and then restarting the RU Server (please see Configuration -> Service state tab) or the server machine itself and see if this helps to resolve the issue.

In this case could you please provide us the RU Server log files as well as Host log files for examination? You can send the log files to support@remoteutilities.com.

I sent the logs.They are almost empty. but after looking at the logs.
I saw that when restarting the server, it does not listen to other ports.

I found out what the problem was.
If you do not close the config, it does not update the parameters.
And restarting from the config does not update these parameters either.

It was necessary to make changes, completely close the config console. and restart the server.
