Remote Utilities 5.2.2 released
Remote Utilities 5.2.2 has been released. Although this release is a sub-minor one, it features a serious improvement. We received numerous suggestions related to the user interface of the Viewer. So we decided to revamp the interface and make it more comprehensive and easy to use.
In this release, we have also renamed Remote Utilities Server to Remote Utilities Host. We found that although being technically correct - Remote Utilities uses the client-server model - the term "server" can be somewhat misleading. Some users understood "server" as either a hardware server or a program that could be installed only on Windows Server editions. That, of course, is not the case. Remote Utilities Server (now called Host) can be installed both on workstation and server editions.
As usual, you can download the latest release from here:
http://www.remoteutilities.com/download/ . When you download the new version, remember to update both parts, Viewer and Host.
